weekly astrology forecast | february 19th to 25th, 2024 - the wound is the way, needing elbow room, our thinking changes, big full moon in virgo highlights work or health news we might have been avoiding

Let's dive right in!

MONDAY - Chiron conjuncts North Node

THURSDAY - Venus conjuncts Mars

FRIDAY - Mercury enters Pisces

SATURDAY - FULL MOON in Virgo, Venus squares Jupiter

On MONDAY - Chiron, at 16 degrees Aries, meets the North Node - we talked about this HERE. This is our wound/vulnerability merging with the future. This pain/what hurts is part of the way forward. Keep in mind Aries is the first sign, so doesn't need to have all the answers. Like the Fool in tarot (and Aries ain't nobody's fool) we move ahead with a kind of fool's/newbie's courage. Chiron was also a healer and a teacher and a mentor and for many people the way forward will involve opportunities like these. We could also meet someone like this who has a strong impact on our future. You don't have to have all the answers to move ahead with this energy. The future isn't so much about the answers as it is about asking new questions and embracing new solutions. Keep this in mind now.

Any contact/portal with the North Node is a HEADS UP for a new road to open up, so pay attention!

After their meeting, Chiron will go on to make some smaller, but significant aspects - things are up and down - until the very end of February and first few days of March when first Venus and then Mars will be sextiling - creative opportunity - the North Node and then Chiron. So pay attention to what comes to your attention now as they merge and then later there will be opportunities to take advantage of.

On THURSDAY - Venus meets up with Mars at 6 degrees Aquarius. They last met at 0 Aquarius in March 2022, so this continues the Mars/Venus Aqua themes - needing to give our relationships a little more space and independence, relationships being more airy/intellectual, each person needing to be themselves. Our masculine and feminine energies are working together/merged. What we want and what we have to do to get what we want are aligned. This conjunction now could bring a NEW FRIENDSHIP or online relationship. With Venus applying to that square to Jupiter there could be something lucrative/beneficial here.

On FRIDAY - Mercury leaves airy Aquarius for watery Pisces. Mercury will be in Pisces until March 9th. That Aqua stellium is starting to break up. More water means more emotions, more compassion, more art and spirituality, less finite boundaries. Is that our thought or the guy's thought who is standing next to us? It can be hard to tell.

Mercury rules our thinking, our communication, our ideas. He/she is considered in her fall/detriment in Pisces (because she rules Pisces polarity sign of Virgo).

Virgo's Mercury likes things clear and concise - she wants B to follow A and is sure things would move more efficiently if everyone would just dot their i's and cross their t's. Pisces (ruled by Neptune and ruler of our collective 12th house) is the space where rules/boundaries are more fluid. B might follow A. But just as easily A could drift right on past B.

It is the space of imagination, universal love, our dreams, spirituality, our connection to each other through the ethereal realms and our emotions, the ways we escape, the things we do last, the things we put away, addictions, delusions, hospitals, prisons, addicts, victims, saviors, martyrs.

You can see how fast-moving Mercury could be a bit out-of-whack here.So maybe our thinking slows down a bit. Our words drift off course. We started to say this and now we are saying that. The words that were so clear and crisp in airy Aquarius, don't come as easily because maybe we start feeling their impact on the other person now. Or maybe we start feeling like one of those old anti-drug commercials but instead of eggs - it is our brain frying on the sidewalk.

Details might be fuzzy. Our thinking could be, too. And on the flipside our words and thinking become more intuitive - we are FEELING what people are saying and we are FEELING what they are 'needing us to say', which can be extremely beneficial, but also get us in trouble, so keep that in mind.

With Pisces ruler of the last house of the zodiac maybe a conversation comes to an end now. Our natal Pisces house - what house has Pisces on the cusp in your natal chart? - a space we are naturally inclined to more dreamy ways - suddenly WAKES UP. Our attention goes there.

This is wonderful energy for artists, poets, musicians, meditation, spirituality, healing. With Mercury (ruler of Gemini) in this universal space our words can cast even more powerful and magical S-P-E-L-L-S - keep this in mind WHENEVER YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH or allow a thought into your head.

This is not such wonderful energy for to-do lists and more practical concerns. Double check communications. Re-read important papers. Give other people a break when their language isn't as concise as you would like it to be or when they (or we) just can't decide. Mercury in Pisces takes in so much universal information from the world that it becomes hard to take a singular stance. Cold facts are not so cold and hard decisions go limp. Lies might be spoken and take on a life of their own. That whole "alternative facts" thing applies.

It is the time to let our mental defenses down and just feel it. Or to guard against this very thing - depending on the situation!

We don't have to understand everything or figure everything out. Pisces dissolves. Pisces feels. Pisces is a water sign and heals through wetness - blood, sweat and tears (I would avoid the blood though if possible). If we want/need to cry, and even if it turns into one of those big old ugly cries that has our eyes all scrunched up two days later and people asking us what the hell happened to us - it's time to cry.

You will probably not need me to tell you this though .....

If you really need to knuckle down mentally now it could be best to give Neptune some creative time - meditate, color, paint, etc, FIRST.

On SATURDAY - the Virgo Moon, at 5 degrees, opposes the Pisces Sun giving us this month's Full Moon - our annual Full Moon in practical Virgo. The Moon trines Ceres in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus, squares Pallas in Sagittarius and opposes, not only the Sun, but also ruler Mercury and Saturn. Note - the Sun, Mercury and Saturn are all going to meet for a BIG OLD MUSCLE BUILDING REALITY CHECK on February 29th. And, that is when Venus will be sextiling the North Node. Everything now is leading us to that time frame.

Collectively the Virgo Full Moon opposing the Sun and Mercury could bring to light health or work or maybe pet or employee related information that we might not have been able to see ie lost in that 12th house, behind closed doors, etc - or have not been wanting to see. Next week's REALITY CHECK pile-up says we are going to have to.

Saturday is also the day Venus squares Jupiter. Even though this is a tense square whenever our two benefic planets have access to each other it is usually a good thing, but as always with Jupiter it pays to remember things can get excessive. LEAVE YOUR WALLET AT HOME. Don't over-spend, Or over-promise. This is good energy for increasing our confidence, expanding our reach - just don't take things too far. If you do, don't say I didn't warn you.

Big FULL MOON post next!

I am going to put that one up and then be off blog for a few days to catch up on those Pluto charts - sorry this has been taking so long to those who requested them - I received more requests than expected and have been busy with jewelry orders after a recent show and I want to send everything out at once. I promise it won't take me until Pluto leaves Aquarius in 20 years to get these out :)

I hope something here is helpful. Excuse any typos or nonsense.
