MONDAY - Mars trine Uranus, Mercury trine Juno

FRIDAY - Third Quarter Moon, Mercury sextile Neptune
This week's aspects look a bit different than last week, huh?
Not much is happening it looks like.
Certainly things could be quieter, but don't be fooled :)
This is a very strange week with only a couple major aspects, so in some ways not much is happening, but in other ways much is happening.
The Mars/Uranus at the beginning of the week is setting something into motion because remember the CHANGE THAT WAS POSTPONED is no longer postponed!
And although the planet Uranus will not actually move even one degree until sometime in March and by then all the inner planets will have pow-wowed with Pluto in Aquarius - we are still moving forward, in some ways at lightning speed. In other ways, THINGS ARE BEING SET UP. Falling into place.
Pluto has moved into Aquarius and Aquarius ruler (co-ruler!) Uranus has stationed direct and Mars is forming a very smooth energetic loop with Uranus - we can see, something NEW is being SET UP. Our ACTIONS - and Mars is in Capricorn, so these are practical, serious actions - are tentacles that are reaching into the future and pulling the energy, people, situations, etc, we need to get THERE back to us HERE.
Mars will meet up with Pluto on Valentine's Day (!) which is going to be the trigger for a BIG splash of what Pluto in Aquarius is bringing, showing us - HERE IS WHAT IS POSSIBLE.
Then on July 6th - and maybe we can remember this better, at least if we are in the United States, if we think to ourselves the 4th of July and Mars stuff usually hits early anyway - Mars will get to 19 degrees Taurus and although Uranus will have moved on, that degree will be LIT from Uranus 's station and long squat (plus remember we have all the trines from Cappy to this degree last week and now) and Mars will LIGHT A MATCH with what is happening NOW.
Also, by that time, the time of hotdogs and barbecues and parades, the planet Saturn - the other co-ruler of Aquarius - the one that keeps Aquarius from running off into a ditch, will have reached 19 degrees Pisces and be sextiling Mars.
This is all working IF WE ARE (Saturn!).
Uranus himself will be at 25 degrees Taurus by then and Uranus hasn't been to 25 degrees Taurus since 1941. Mercury will be exact on the degree of last week's Leo Full Moon. The U.S. and Israel's charts are in the soup, but that is a subject for another day.
Can someone keep track of all this? I don't think I can. My brain might be too swiss-cheesy now. It might actually explode if I keep looking.
(also there is a bunch of other 19-20 degree activations coming, including multiple 20 degree New Moons, and, of course a big Eclipse in April)
Let's unpack the week!
On MONDAY - now Mars - the way we take action and go after what we want - reaches his exact trine (brakes off) with lightning fast, lightning-in-a-bottle Uranus. Mercury is still in trine, too.
TAKE ACTION. Something is falling into place. This is an earth trine - so grounded, practical.
A path of least resistance has just opened up.
Keep in mind the timeframes we talked about in the opening of this post.
Note - both Mercury and Mars have trined and are trining a strong Uranus who has just changed direction. All major planets are direct, and trines are saying THE BRAKES ARE OFF. The changes that were postponed are HERE, just keep in mind that although things can move fast with Pluto in Aquarius and some things will, Uranus doesn't actually move even one degree until March.
The things we are setting into motion now - the changes that were postponed - are BIG.
This is Cappy, so effort and ambition will pay off. We get, arguably, the BEST aspect - the trine - from two inner planets - us - to a powerful outer planet - everything that isn't us. This outer planet is about fast change/freedom/genius - wants change AT ANY COST and it pays not to mistake Uranus for Aquarius (why sober and time-honoring Saturn's co-rulership of Aquarius is necessary or we would be off the rails in about six seconds).
Collectively with Uranus in Taurus this is about smooth changes with our income, resources and self-esteem. New ideas about making money, getting more value from our existing resources and having greater SECURITY.
And, of course this is all happening with Mercury/Mars in square to the Nodes of Fate indicating we are at a crossroads/turning point in a cycle that HAS SOME HISTORY AND BAGGAGE CONNECTED TO IT.
Mercury trines Juno - good for conversations with partners, marital communication or re-negotiating contracts. Dotted lines will be signed on. Just keep in mind Juno is retrograde, so THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES LATER. Stay flexible. Juno is determined to fix what CAN be fixed within our relationships. Virgo is about the details/is exacting, so that is what we are looking at and talking about.
Little things are big things.
(I wonder if Trump or Kennedy will choose running mates this week?)
On WEDNESDAY - following Mercury, now Mars is trining Juno, retrograde in Virgo and this is likely all part of the same thing as Mercury earlier in the week. Maybe we are taking action on what we have AGREED ON or what we were talking or communicating about. Mars and Mercury are in Cappy, so this could also be about work/career situations for many people.
On FRIDAY - the Moon in Scorpio squares the Sun in Aquarius - this is the final square from that New Moon in Capricorn and tension/frustration for last week's Full Moon in Leo story
This is Scorpio/Aquarius - which is a big part of our collective storyline right now with Pluto's recent shift into Aquarius. The Sun in Aquarius is smart, analytical, detached. The Moon is Scorpio is smart, too. But this knowing comes from being ATTACHED. Getting down into the mud. Looking under the hood.
What is beneath Aquarius's genius, drive for freedom, progress, group goals? Is there something here we don't want to look at too closely? The Scorpio Moon brings the intensity/passion and requires us to feel what is really going on. That Moon's final aspect is a sextile to Mercury in Cappy, tomorrow, which is good news ('good news' meaning good for us if we are making some kind of effort while the Moon is in Scorpio)
AND today is the day, Mercury in Capricorn reaches 25 degrees and Sextiles Neptune. We are using our intuition at work. We are using our business smarts and practical skills with our art/healing/spirituality. Neptune brings magic, compassion to hard-headed Capricorn thinking. Boundaries soften just enough. Cappy/Pisces is more 'building the dream' energy and requires some kind of effort to activate.
Use it or lose it.
