We are expecting a big snow and ICE storm here - you might be, too - so I thought I would get this up early.
The MARS/PLUTO meet-up in Aquarius - this one will probably hit early and makes me think many people will lose electricity/internet during this ICE storm (yes, more ICE - it's words that make our world and the collective energies are being brought home to everyone now via the Aquarius planets interacting with Jupiter in Cancer).
This is our annual DANGER WILL ROBINSON conjunction.
Then we have Neptune into Aries (now answering to Mars, after 13 years of answering to only himself) setting up his meeting next month with Saturn and everything all week is building toward Sunday's BIG Full Moon in Leo.
Let's unpack the week!
MONDAY - Neptune enters Aries
TUESDAY - Mars conjunct Pluto
THURSDAY - Mercury conjunct Venus
FRIDAY - Mercury inconjunct Jupiter
SATURDAY - Venus inconjunct Jupiter
SUNDAY - FULL MOON IN LEO
MONDAY - Neptune finally gets off that 29th degree of Pisces - the end of the end - and moves onto 0 degrees Aries (the Aries point, a collective point of ATTENTION/seeding). Neptune dissolves boundaries and Aries fights/leads ACTS. So, we’re moving from Neptune in Pisces (fog, denial, spiritual bypass, endless empathy) into Neptune in Aries (belief as weapon, faith as action, illusion driving crusades).
"I believe and so I act" replaces "I feel and so I drift". This is the end of pretending we don't know who the aggressors are. This is a surge of ideological courage OR ideological recklessness.

TUESDAY - Mars meets Pluto in Aquarius. Mars is action/heat/passion/force and Pluto is death and rebirth/transformation/power. Aquarius is groups/causes/systems/electricity/technology/the internet/future. You can kind of see what this means, even if we can't see exactly what is going to happen. THIS IS DANGER WILL ROBINSON energy and in play as soon as Mars gets in Aquarius (Friday, the 23rd) and for a few days. Aquarius isn't emotional or personal. In the United States this will at least partially most likely play out through this ICE STORM that is expected to impact more than 30 states as well as the ICE PROTESTS and whatever the hell is going to happen with everything so volatile. With Mars/Pluto here think - COLD RESOLVE. Also think - IRREVERSIBLE because Plutonian events always are ... drive carefully, measure twice before you cut once. No dark alleys folks. And keep in mind this is already in play when I post this.
Disciplined action and power moves can pay off.
THURSDAY - After the FORCE comes the conversation/narrative. This looks like collective statements about what just happened. Alliances can be formed. Values talked about. Just keep in mind that Venus in Aquarius is more loyal to ideas than people. Messaging can sound more humane than it actually is. Pretty words can be wrapped around hard choices.
FRIDAY /SATURDAY - now comes the rocks-and-hard-places. Jupiter, retrograde in Cancer, is all about the PAST, home, family, security/safety, mom and apple pie. Venus and Mercury are at awkward angles from detached/intelligent and future-focused Aquarius. Venus in Aqua inconjunct Jupiter in Cancer is values vs care, the impersonal vs the deeply personal. Who deserves care/protection? Who is excluded in the name of progress or in the name of security? Mercury in Aqua inconjunct Jupiter in Cancer is words that don't quite sit right. Our head vs our gut. Intellect/systemized care vs maternal emotional care. Maybe here is where we are FEELING THE COST OF WHERE WE HAVE MADE AQUARIAN STYLE DECISIONS - head over gut. Or maybe sometimes vice versa.
The Cancer/Aquarius inconjuncts are where the collective story leaks into kitchens, families and our physical bodies. It might not be dramatic for everyone, but it is de-stabilizing.
Aquarius says - think smarter/detach to function higher/sacrifice the personal for the collective. Progress requires some space/distance. Use your head. This is the way we make the future more equal. Cancer says - tend to what is most vulnerable, protect what's close and what has come before. Care must be part of the foundation and not just some kind of afterthought before we proceed.
The inconjunct says we cannot have it both ways/there must be some give-and-take with BOTH SIDES, so what do we need to adjust. The danger here, because this Aqua stellium is MEGA is that people WITHDRAW. They get sick. They numb out/disengage emotionally. This is how we, as people/as a culture - get kind of HOLLOWED OUT.
The MEDICINE with this inconjunct/the magic/the way through - and you might want to trust me on this one since I have an Aquarius Sun and a Cancer Moon (keep in mind collectively we are the personal planets adjusting to Jupiter and he is retrograde, so this won't be a totally new story - we have been here before) - is choosing one real relationship over a symbolic cause/has something important been neglected, choose rest/self-care without apology, the whole "No." is a complete sentence thing applies here, honor grief/loss privately or within a group if it feels right. Think about - how have I been sacrificing my inner home to maintain an outer system? Reconnecting with family members is very likely this week (and last) and the connections will probably be AWKWARD and require adjustment. That's ok. We don't have to agree with each other on every issue to find the ones we do agree on. Common ground/shared pasts. The storm here is pushing people to stay home/focus close to home. Keep this in mind.
SUNDAY - Full Moon in Leo - this one looks tricky and like some kind of RECKONING.
Lots of asteroids involved including - Icarus (flying too close to the Sun/unprepared sons/falling from the sky), Apollo (extra spotlight, also connected to Trump's ascendent), Atlantis (advancement without wisdom, destructive tech), Achlys (grief), Hybris (hubris), Amycus (brute strength) - WOW. Our Leo King is opposed/outnumbered.
